About Social Steps

Social interactions can be a frustrating experience for all of us--especially for individuals with autism spectrum disorders and learning disabilities. Social Steps was created by ScenicView Academy staff to help our students better navigate social experiences.

Upcoming Social Steps Class

ScenicView Academy offers a 15-week course focused on improving social skills for personal, family, employment, and other situations. 

• Where: ScenicView Academy -- 5455 N. 250 W. Provo, UT, Room 250
• When: Monday & Wednesday 1:00 PM - 2:00. Call ScenicView Academy for the latest schedule.
• Cost: $750 with a materials fee of $15. 
• What: 30 different social skills lessons designed to help students navigate social barriers they face in the work environment and in life. Classes are customized to meet the abilities, needs and interests of the students. Topics range from facing social fears, having empathy, starting conversations, receiving feedback, conflict resolution, and many other topics. 
• Who: This class is currently focusing on adults 18+ seeking to improve their social skills. Not 18 yet? Contact us for information on potential classes for younger ages.

Bridges We Build: The Art of Making Friends is a reference guide for social skills. Designed by ScenicView staff, this handy tool helps social interactions become more manageable. It is a key piece to our social skills program.
