Transition Specialist
Jill graduated in May 2025 Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Social Work from Utah Valley University. While at UVU, she worked in the human services field as a crisis line counselor, a coach for adolescents with trauma histories, a peer mentor for first-generation college students, and a harm reduction specialist for clients suffering from homelessness and substance use disorders. She served in leadership positions for the Social Work Student Association and A Hand Up, a club dedicated to addressing basic needs insecurity in our local community.
She began working at ScenicView in July 2023 as a mentor, then completed her BSW senior practicum at ScenicView as a behavioral intern. She is thrilled to be staying at ScenicView in her new role as a transition specialist. As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent person herself, she is passionate about wielding her skills, education, and lived experience to support our amazing neurodiverse students in gaining greater independence. In her free time, Jill loves rock concerts, reading about psychology, playing with her cat, singing in her car, and playing the piano, guitar, bass, cello, and drums (some better than others).
